What happened in this episode...
Breathtaking landscape shots & dramatic rescue missions - that's what the TV series is known and loved for. The new season begins with a full landing of action: Anja Vogler is propped up by her paraglider and gets tangled up on a lift support. Markus, who happened to witness the accident, is immediately on the scene and is able to rescue her at the last minute.
Anja's husband Steffen, who was on a secret mission on the mountain at the same time, also witnessed the accident. In order to save his family's livelihood, the apricot orchard, he started trying to grow cannabis on the mountain. When he sees Anja's crash, he immediately rushes to the scene of the accident and almost causes the next one. There is almost a collision with two mountain bikers. Steffen loses his unauthorized load, which falls into the wrong hands.
A short time later, Steffen is blackmailed with the knowledge of the unauthorized plantation and has to confess the truth to Anja. The two of them make their way to the scene of the incident. An argument ensues and they crash. At the same time, the second mountain biker files a complaint with the police. At the scene of the accident, Markus and Alex also discover cannabis leaves and a cistus, which makes Markus suspicious, and he finds out who has been growing the plants. A stroke of luck for the injured couple. The mountain rescuers manage to find Anja and Steffen. As action-packed as the episode began, it also ends. A fire starts on the plantation and Alex falls into it. But Markus is able to prevent the worst.
Markus and the others' private lives are also full of hustle and bustle away from the mountain rescue team. Nina's accident and the death of Peter Herbrechter have turned things upside down. Markus is plagued by feelings of guilt that he was unable to prevent Nina's mountain accident and now feels a responsibility to support her on the road to recovery, which also has consequences for their time together as a couple with policewoman Alex. Tobias also spends a lot of time working at the hotel, not least because of Markus' expert opinion.

The Rittisberg
Anja's rescue operation right at the beginning was certainly spectacular. Did you recognize which lift station she landed on with her paraglider? The chairlift on the Rittisberg was the location for this scene. While skiers make their turns here in winter, there is plenty of action for young and old in summer.
From the mountain station, you can also follow a hiking trail to the Rittisberg summit cross. For those who prefer a fast-paced and action-packed ride, the summer toboggan run or the Flyline will get their money's worth. The Rittisberg also offers a total of 5 refreshment stops. The Stoderzinken
Most of the mountain scenes were filmed on the Stoderzinken, a well-known location in the series. The hike to the Friedenskircherl and to the summit are popular destinations for our guests.
