    Living customs in Styria

    Mystical figures, shrill bells and scary larvae: in the Schladming-Dachstein region, Krampus runs are an integral part of the Advent season. This is particularly impressive at the Krampus run in Schladming or at the traditional Öblarn Krampus play, a Styrian folk spectacle with a centuries-old history.
