Top events during Advent

The 3 most beautiful Advent walks

These tours invite you to enjoy festive moments during Advent:

  • Mill Advent: This peaceful winter hike takes you from the old mill in Rössing to the Waldschenke, accompanied by the sound of the stream, the rattling of the mill and flickering lights - a path full of contemplation and nostalgia.
  • Trail of lights in Haus im Ennstal: The village center shines in festive splendor and enchants with a unique illumination of historic buildings, alleys and the church area.
  • Talbachklamm gorge: icy rocks, snow-covered paths and atmospheric effect lighting make this walk a special experience in the midst of nature.

Krampus time

Living customs in Styria

Mystical figures, shrill bells and scary larvae: in the Schladming-Dachstein region, Krampus runs are an integral part of the Advent season. This is particularly impressive at the Krampus run in Schladming or at the traditional Öblarn Krampus play, a Styrian folk spectacle with a centuries-old history.
