The region is picturesquely situated in the Enns Valley, between Mandling and Wörschach, and has excellent connections:
- You can reach international express train connections via the train stations Schladming, Öblarn and Stainach/Irdning.
- Other regional train stations with several daily connections: Mandling, Pichl, Haus im Ennstal, Aich, Pruggern, Gröbming, Stein an der Enns, Niederöblarn, Wörschach and Pürgg.
Fast, convenient, climate-friendly: use the public transport service (usually free of charge in summer) for stress-free journeys throughout your stay.
Arrival with ÖBB
With the ÖBB Sparschiene, you can travel to Schladming-Dachstein within Austria for as little as € 19.90. Travel even more carefree without luggage. Use the ÖBB luggage service and start your vacation "light" and comfortable. ÖBB's Eurocity and Intercity trains run every two hours through the Enns Valley with direct connections from Graz, Innsbruck and Salzburg.

Arrival with the Deutsche Bahn
You can travel to Schladming-Dachstein from almost anywhere in Germany with Deutsche Bahn. Travelers from northern Germany, Berlin or the Rhine-Ruhr region, for example, can reach Munich at high speed with the ICE and then use one of the two daily direct connections with the EuroCity as a connection to Schladming.

Arrival by plane
The nearest airport is Salzburg (approx. 90 km), from where you can reach the region in around 1.5 hours by train, rental car or cab. Alternatively, there are also the airports of Graz (approx. 180 km), Vienna (approx. 300 km) and Munich (approx. 260 km).
