Cuisine with heart and origin

If you had to explain Schladming-Dachstein in one bite - what would it taste like? Quite simply: fresh mountain air, closeness to nature, warm people and the feeling of home.

Here you can not only enjoy regional specialties such as

  • the spicy Ennstal Steirerkas,
  • the traditional Miasl,
  • or many other home-made delicacies,

but also honest hospitality, which resonates in every dish. Traditional recipes and creative ideas combine to create a taste experience that is as diverse as the region itself.

The mountains not only shape the panorama, but also the culinary character - down-to-earth, high-quality and surprising. This turns a visit into a real culinary experience.

And guests become homecomers.

Alpine cuisine by Richard Rauch

In Schladming-Dachstein, the vibrant vacation feeling of the region begins with the taste - because here the mountain now tastes like gourmet cuisine, right in the middle of the mountain pasture. With the unique "Almkulinarik by Richard Rauch" project, enjoyment becomes even more of an expression of the region itself: In summer and winter, specially created toque-awarded dishes are served at selected mountain huts - rooted in the region, interpreted in a sophisticated way and always surrounded by the most beautiful panorama.

Here, the mountain backdrop defines the taste, rural craftsmanship meets creative cuisine and hut flair meets the highest culinary art. Because where award-winning chef Richard Rauch swings the cooking spoon together with the hosts of the region, every bite becomes an unforgettable vacation moment.
