Highlights:

  • Milking cows - you'll be surprised how much dexterity you need when milking the "Gummi Liesl".

This is how your day on the mountain pasture goes

The "Roas" starts at the Schloss Großsölk Nature Park House, where you will be guided through the exhibition "The Gold of the Alpine Pastures - Styrian Cheese". After around 1½ hours, you will have long since arrived at the topic of cheese - historical, traditional and culinary.

Then it's on to the idyllic Kleinsölktal valley, directly to the Zaunerhütte on the Breitlahnalm. Here you can immerse yourself in alpine life, get to know the crafts of the farmers' wives and try them out for yourself.

Two hours later, you have not only learned a lot - you are the alpine pasture. And of course you will receive your very own "Ennstaler Almdiplom"!
