Everything you need to know about courses & children's countries:

Would you like to introduce your children to the joys of winter sports or take their first turns in the snow yourself? All beginnings may be difficult, but not impossible.

Around 400 ski and snowboard instructors from 16 ski and snowboard schools are on hand to offer help and advice and welcome even the youngest children. From the age of three or four, children are introduced to skiing in a playful way. Snowboard courses are available from the age of eight.

The courses are about more than just learning the technique. It is important to our ski and snowboard instructors that you get to know the sport on the slopes in all its facets - from safety training to getting to know the mountain nature and cable car technology in the ski area. Of course, there is also plenty of fun on the slopes. For the little ones, the highlight is the final race and the big award ceremony.

True to the motto "Can't - Doesn't exist", the non-profit association Freizeit-PSO (Freizeit-Para-Special Outdoorsports) uses specially trained ski instructors and individually adapted equipment to create an inclusive environment that enables people with various mental and/or physical impairments to enjoy the slopes without barriers. The courses are always held as 1:1 private lessons.

Wonder carpets in our children's areas are ideal for beginners on skis. Certain conveyor belts in our children's areas can also be used by private individuals without attending a ski school course. The ski school area is always specially marked or cordoned off. Incidentally, a new ski school center and an additional conveyor belt, the "Kisi-Jet", were recently opened on the Riesneralm.

Do you already know our Check-In Challenge "Skiing experiences for the little ones"? Visit 4 of 12 children's areas on our ski mountains and, with a bit of luck, win a surprise for your children!

Our professionals have these tips for you:

To ensure that your first day of skiing is a successful experience, our ski instructors recommend that you book courses or private lessons online in advance to guarantee your place on the course and also organize your equipment and lift pass in advance. You don't need to be a professional athlete to ski and snowboard, but a certain level of basic fitness is required for winter sports: you should therefore also prepare yourself physically if possible.

With these tips in mind, nothing stands in the way of you enjoying the slopes! Because skiing is the easiest...
