On the ski slopes in the morning and on the bike in the afternoon
The best of both worlds awaits you here in spring: In the morning you can make your turns on our great slopes, in the afternoon you can head to the Haus-Aich singletrack - even free of charge from April 11 to May 28. New: our "Bikeland Heroes" puzzle rally, which introduces young and old adventurers to the trail park in a fun way.
Spring in Schladming-Dachstein
Winter is slowly coming to an end and spring has already made its first signs of arrival with plenty of sunshine and pleasant temperatures. For sporty holidaymakers in the Austrian Schladming-Dachstein vacation region, it will soon be time to hit the slopes in the morning and get on your bike in the afternoon. Many ski mountains are still open until Easter, and for bikers the "Singletrack Haus-Aich" opens on April 11th with an attractive offer: use is free until May 28th . For holders of the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard, the trail park is even free to use until the fall.
The sunny location allows for an early start and operation until the beginning of November. The Haus-Aich singletrack is ideal for beginners and families. There is a brand new highlight for children: as part of the new "Bikeland Heroes" puzzle rally, tricky puzzles can be solved along the three varied loops together with characters such as Madame Flow, Jumper and Dr. Drop. The rally has been designed to offer an entertaining experience for both children and adults of all levels of difficulty.
Andreas Keinprecht, Chairman of the Schladming-Dachstein Tourist Board, emphasizes: "We see ourselves as a year-round destination in the region with offers for all four seasons. With this in mind, it is of course a perfect symbiosis for our guests if they can still find excellent snow conditions on the ski slopes in spring and can alternatively or additionally hop on a bike and enjoy a wonderful trail park such as the Haus-Aich singletrack."
Also suitable for cyclists without mountain bike experience
The five-kilometre singletrack was opened just two years ago. The trail center is unique in the German-speaking region and is characterized by its particularly environmentally friendly, sustainable and robust construction. The narrow cycle paths are also suitable for cyclists without mountain bike experience. The route is particularly interesting for families with children, as there are only 40 meters of elevation gain over the five kilometers. The track is therefore also perfect for "breaking in".
By the way: The Haus-Aich singletrack is open daily and the trail park is free to use for Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard holders until the fall. Bikes and the necessary protective equipment are available for hire at Bikeworld Bründl.
