The Sky Club Austria flight school was founded in 1988 by Walter Schrempf at Thannegg Castle in Moosheim. What started small has developed over the years into a versatile paragliding provider: Flying school, tandem flights, club, store, workshop, travel agency, parataxi and the popular FlyPark Dachstein are all part of the service today. Together with his sons Clemens and Lorenz Schrempf, Walter Schrempf runs the company with experience, a spirit of innovation and a genuine passion for flying:

The easiest way into the air
Tandem flights:
At Sky Club Austria, it's easy to get started - with tandem paragliding. You sit in a harness together with an experienced pilot. You don't need any previous experience.
There are various launch sites and flight lengths to choose from:
🪂 Michaelerberg
A short flight that is also suitable for children:
- 500 vertical meters
- approx. 10 minutes flight time
- Price: 80,00 €
🪂S toderzinken and Krippenstein
High alpine routes with incredible views - including views of the Dachstein glacier:
- 1500 vertical meters
- approx. 30 minutes flight time
- Price: 180,00 €
🪂 Hauser Kaibling
An alpine flight with fantastic views over the Enns Valley and the Schladminger Tauern:
- 1000 vertical meters
- approx. 20 minutes flight time
- Price: 160,00 €
Your path to a license
Learn to paraglide
Do you want to fly more than just once? Then take the next step and learn to fly yourself! The Sky Club Austria flight school offers you the ideal conditions for this. It is the first international ÖAeC & DHV certified training company for paragliding since 1988.
📘 Taster day
- A half-day on the practice slope or on the ground handling meadow
- Ideal for testing: suitable for anyone who is not yet sure whether they are made for flying
- Get started yourself and simply try it out - without prior knowledge!
📘 Basic course
Under the guidance of experienced flight instructors, you will learn
- Take-off & landing techniques
- Turning and first flight maneuvers
- Theory in meteorology, aerodynamics, equipment and aviation law
- Get to know many like-minded people
- the basics for safe paragliding under the supervision of a flight instructor
- (4-day compact course or 6-day standard course)
