Tobogganing fun can be had on the 7 km long Hochwurzen toboggan run, the Galsterberg family toboggan run, or the natural toboggan run on the Rittisberg. Many runs are also illuminated in the evening.

The Schladming-Dachstein region includes the ski areas of the Schladming 4-Mountain Ski Area—Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm—as well as Fageralm, Ramsau am Dachstein, Galsterberg, Riesneralm, and Planneralm. A total of around 222 kilometers of slopes await you.

With around 220 kilometers of trails, the Ramsau am Dachstein cross-country skiing center is one of the best in Europe—including a high-altitude trail on the Dachstein glacier. You will also find idyllic trails for leisurely skiers in the Untertal, Ennstal, and Grimming-Donnersbachtal valleys.

THE NIGHTRACE Schladming will take place on January 27 and 28, 2026, on Planai.

The Schladming-Dachstein ski region in the heart of Austria has 99 modern lifts, 33 of which are children's lifts and magic carpets.

The longest downhill run is on the Hochwurzen. It is 8 km long.

With 92 kilometers of blue slopes, the area is particularly child- and youth-friendly.

The following children's areas are located directly at the valley station:

• Wollis Kids Park at Hauser Kaibling
• Kaliland in Ramsau am Dachstein
• Riesneralm children's ski area

The following ski mountains boast spacious and lovingly designed children's areas:

• The Gallic ski village on the Galsterberg

• Kali's adventure slopes in Ramsau am Dachstein
• Children's ski routes Fageralm

The total length is 222 kilometers of slopes, which are divided into the following levels of difficulty:

• blue (easy): 92 km
• red (medium): 115 km
• black (difficult): 15 km
