Waldhof
Tour description
Organic - Quaint - Traditional!
The "Waldhof" guesthouse still exudes the enchanted romance and flair of a traditional house that has served no other purpose over a long period of time than to give visitors staying under its roof a sense of security and well-being. As early as the turn of the century (around 1900), the Waldhof was a hostel for summer holidaymakers.
The cosy rooms (single, double and family rooms) are all individually furnished and have an unmistakable character. Some of the rooms have a shared bathroom or shared toilet. The lack of comfort is compensated for by the indescribable charm and cosy atmosphere.
In the morning we prepare an organic breakfast in the farmhouse parlour. The organic eggs come from our nephew, the Lienl farmer. In the evening, we serve our guests a delicious dinner made from 100% organic ingredients, prepared on our good old wood-fired oven. We are also happy to cater for vegetarians.
Children have space to play, jump on the trampoline, play table tennis and can let their imaginations run wild in the knight's castle. In winter, the programme usually consists of building a snowman, hurtling down the hill and then enjoying a hot cup of cocoa in the rustic farmhouse parlour.
