Hiking Bus Bodensee
Tour description
The hiking bus takes you from Schladming to the Bodensee in the Seewigtal in comfort and without a car. Departure is in Schladming at the Planet Planai bus stop via Haus im Ennstal to the Bodensee car park. The car may be parked at Planet Planai and with the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard this bus ride including toll is free of charge.
Once you have reached your destination, there are many more hiking possibilities for all levels of ability. The classic is the barrier-free path to Bodensee with a walking time of about 20 minutes.
Enjoy the trip with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and arrive relaxed at the parking lot Steirischer Bodensee - your starting point of numerous hikes. The route leads over a well-developed toll road from Ruperting through the Seewigtal to the Steirischer Bodensee car park. Also along the route you will find numerous hiking and refreshment opportunities.
Arriving at the parking lot, numerous hiking opportunities open up here. The classic is the barrier-free path to the lake, about 15 minutes. The lake invites with wonderful deep and far-reaching views to a leisurely walk, about 60 minutes. Directly on the lake, the Forellenhof invites you to linger or to take a boat tour with a rowing boat.
If you like it more challenging, you can enjoy the 3-lake hike - Steirischer Bodensee - Hüttensee - Obersee. At the Hüttensee, the Hans-Wödlhütte invites you to stop for a refreshment. If you love the alpine challenges, you will hike to the Hochwildstelle and Höchstein.
From the Steirischer Bodensee car park you can also reach the Hauser Kaibling via the Gumpental to the beautiful Moaralmsee. Downhill it goes with the gondola and the hiking bus brings you back to the parking lot. Also you can plan this hiking tour in the opposite direction.
For groups of 10 persons or more, registration at the Planai bus office is required at least 1 day in advance!
