A beautiful hiking area extends directly behind the house: Stoarnalm, Luseralm, Grafenberg and Ahornsee, the mountain Kufstein. Nearest restaurant 3,5km, Ramsau-Ort with nice restaurants and shops is about 9km away, to Schladming is about 11km. Alpine ski area Hauser Kaibling and Planai each about 11km away.
In winter, snow chains are to be carried (except four-wheel vehicles).
